OBJECTIVES Illustration and animated film are my main areas of interest. And I've been fortunate enough to be able to freelance doing exactly that! My goal is to continue my freelancing carreer while at the same time, work on my next animated short.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS My major strengths are illustration, animation and creative thinking. This has amongst other things, resulted in acceptance to various schools such as Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design and employment at Heart Advertising Agency and Svea Advertising Agency. I handle the most common illustration- and designprograms fluently, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress etc. I code HTML and work hinderfree in filmprograms like Final Cut Pro and Premiere. In animation, I mainly work classically, i.e. with pen and paper, but I also frequently use animationprograms like ToonBoom.
WORK
EXPERIENCE Sept. 2000 - today:
GANZANDERES illustration, design & animated film
Ganzanderes was founded in September of 2000 and has been doing illustration, design and animated film since then - contracted as well as independent productions. GanzAnderes - a German expression meaning "something out of the ordinary!" - something I try to accomplish in all of my work. As founder and only employee, I freelance for advertising agencies, production companies, publishing houses, television etc. I've had the great pleasure to have my films screened at festivals and events all over the world, where I've even received a few recognitions and awards.
Besides my own animated short film productions I have done work for: Sveriges Television (Swedish Television), MTV, the magazine PEOPLE, Wahlström & Widstrand bokförlag (publishing house), the magazine Situation Stockholm, Heart Advertising Agency, Grow Advertising Agency, Landstinget i Jönköping (County Council of Jönköping), Orion Pharma (pharmaceutical company), Administration of Education in Stockholm, Atmo Media Network (production company), amongst others. I have made a number of animated music videos - for the Swedish singer Pelle Carlberg, for the Swedish group The Cousins (Old Children) and for the Swedish singer Prince of Assyria.
Aside from this, I have held courses in scetching and drawing techniques, held animation cources and mentored students
at various design schools (see below). I have recently completed a large character design and illustration job for a short film for one of the larger production companies in Stockholm, Atmo Media Networks. In 2008 I started an animation forum – FIA (Forum for International Animation in Stockholm). One important part with FIA is the FIA Animation Festival – Stockholm’s first international animation festival, which took place at Kulturhuset (the Culture House) in Stockholm,
Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2008. In the 2009 festival, I was invited to be part of the jury at the FIA Festival.
In September 2008, I was invited by Svenska Institutet (The Swedish Institute) to be one of two Swedes in the jury at the Cellflix Filmfestival in Shanghai, China. The festival was a celebration of Bergman's 90 years and took place in the beginning of September, 2008 in Shanghai. Read article in China Business News (PDF) and on Consulate General of Sweden.
I have also been ivited to be one of three jury members of the Swedish competition at Uppsala Shortfilm festival 2009 – the largest film festival for short films in Sweden.
I am represented by the agency Frilansbyrån.

During these five years, I worked with the design and programming of websites and the development of CD-ROM presentations for Baush & Lomb, MCI WorldCom, Pharmacia & Upjohn, Täby Kommun and Arvika Grafiska Printers amongst others. Although most of my work benefitted the Internet/New Media section of Heart, I also worked with the production of printed material. MOBILE MOVIES COMPETITION AT STOCKHOLM FILMFESTIVAL. 25 Nov, 2006
A few weeks before the Stockholm International Filmfestival of 2006, I was invited to participate in their new competitive section - Mobile Movies. Ten directors (amongst them - Johan Renck, Martin Kellerman and Malou Schultzberg) were invited by the festival in cooperation with Nokia, to make a short film of a maximum of 15 minutes, using only the new cellphone Nokia N93. We were all given the same theme to work on - "together" - and around 3 weeks to make the films. I ended up making the film "Varandra, Han & Jag" and I'm happy to announce that it was awarded Best Mobile Movie, at the Stockholm Filmfestival award ceremony on Nov 25, 2006. NK Varuhus (NK Departmentstore): spring 2002
As a graduationproject from Forsbergs School of Design, Monica Olson, Danile Di Meo and myself exhibited designed bags at NK Warehouse in Stockholm. We had invited four new designers (Lovisa Burfitt, Mattias Walden, Jan Cafourek, Två) to design four of the five motives, that were printed on the bags. The fifth one was designed by Monica Olsen and myself. There was a limited amount of bags that were given out to chosen customers. A display case on the wall, where the bags were displayed, was put up by the main enterance of the warehouse. See pictures from the exhibition here!

During my education at Forsbergs School of Design and at Berghs I participated in numerous bigger exhibitions. Amongst others a photography-exhibition and one about the different senses. I have also taken part in covering Sergelstorg in grass.
